ACHA Town Hall Hot Topic: Health Equity

When contemplating the forces currently influencing healthcare design, the discussion includes health-related diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). DEI has impacted many aspects of our community from the use of technology to shifts in work force demographics and how we collaborate. As healthcare architects and designers, we strive to make a positive contribution to healing environments and an understanding of health equity is key to effective design.
