Healthcare Market Leader – AECOM
Columbus, Ohio

How has ACHA certification enhanced your career in healthcare architecture and/or design?
It has helped open doors.

ACHA certification has helped with professional opportunities and establishes credibility when someone is not aware of the experience you bring to the table.

What would you say to anyone interested in the field?
Consider ACHA certification.

Establish yourself as a knowledge leader in a crowded field, which helps both in terms of personal opportunities and professional acknowledgement.

What led you to becoming ACHA certified?
At times in my career, I have struggled with being relatively young for the level of responsibility I had on projects. When Peter Bardwell, former ACHA President, explained ACHA's purpose, meaning and structure to me it seemed like a perfect fit. A credential that would help establish me as a knowledge leader in spite of lack of biological proof of experience.
